So I not a big fan of the gray stuff, so we painted it.  Here are pictures of our 1st try. But let me tell you I think we painted them like 10 times.

We had two options, 1) Grab the manual subframe and start over. 2) do some custom work and add what was needed for the manual trans.

Sanding down the shell, but….

Well, this was a project we had never done before. We had the wrong tools, and we went too far.  So we took it all off, which wasn't the plan, but now it's too late.
